[BNM] Registered or not?

A lot of people have [OT] filtered (and indeed it used to be in BNM's
Mailman set up that you could filter them so they didn't even come through
to your e-mail, not sure if that's still in there) so they don't have to
see the off topic messages. This is especially useful if your e-mail client
doesn't nest threads, as you still see each e-mail as it's own entry in a
list.

This was especially useful in the pre-Twitter /
pre-Google-getting-amazingly-good days when there was a hell of a lot of
posts to BNM every day, a mixture of on topic web stuff and off topic
ranting and moaning. Of course, you could say almost every post is off
topic nowadays (plumber, anyone?) but at least that is Brighton related,
whereas general hatred of politicians is universal.

Cheers

Paul
